Welcome to Canary Wharf College
The school opened in September 2011 with places for children in Reception, Year One & Year Two. It has started initially as a primary school with a view to gradually extending to a secondary school. In July 2013 the school received an 'Outstanding' grading from Ofsted. From September 2013 we now have 160 children with two classes in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, with one class in each of Year 3 and Year 4.
Canary Wharf College is pleased to announce that we are opening a second primary school in September 2014. The new school will be called Canary Wharf College 2 and our current school is known as Canary Wharf College 1 (Docklands). With only twenty children per class, the school provides a broad dynamic programme of learning. High standards of academic success are achieved through individual attention, provided by highly qualified professionals in a nurturing and caring family atmosphere.
There is a strong emphasis on Maths, Design & Technology and Science throughout the school, supported by a high level of Creative Arts and Physical Education in the curriculum.
- Our aim is to “Live, share and celebrate the love of learning”. This will be achieved in a Christian environment welcoming children from different faiths and backgrounds.
- We, as parents, educators, and community members, want to transfer and infuse the love we have for learning to the children of East London.
- We want to show them what school and their future can be through living, sharing and celebrating the love of learning.
